Tension and pain in the area of the cervical spine are often due to incorrect positioning of the head during sleep – the whole body should regenerate during sleep in order to be pain-free and efficient even on long working days.
In order to counteract and prevent these problems, a unique pillow has been developed that not only combats the symptoms but also effectively relieves painful neck tension. The unmistakable shape of the Sanapur Original Pillow 4.0 corrects the sleeping position and enables restful sleep without tension in the neck – both in a lateral and supine position.
In addition to the shape of the cushion, the funnel-shaped recess is a benefit for the entire body – because it ensures the ergonomically correct positioning of the head in the axis of the spine. The hole in the depression prevents the auditory canal from being closed when the patient is in a lateral position. The pillow can be height-adjusted to individual requirements by means of two insert plates for optimum development of the effect.

The trend-setting BI-OME technology – with which the pillow fabric has been treated – with its antimicrobial substances ensures that microorganisms are effectively combated. This coating is 100% biological and absolutely harmless for humans and the environment.
Of course, a pillowcase must also be washed from time to time. This is no problem with the Sanapur Original pillow. Simply remove the cover and wash it at 60 degrees – after that it is as good as new again. The naturally soft Talalay latex of the original CLIMA pillow (A: height 70 mm) has efficient moisture and heat regulation. Its soft and permanently elastic properties offer a balance between pressure relief and support function. This version of the original pillow is particularly suitable for people who may sweat more and/or prefer constant height stability.
The two lower insert plates (B: 27 mm thick and C: 18 mm thick) are made of PuraCell® Hydro Soft foam. This special material offers constant height stability and efficient moisture control for a healthy sleeping climate. The PuraCell® Hydro Soft has a similar feel to the Talalay Latex of the pillow. However, the material is more durable than Talalay Latex. This makes it easier to change the plates and pull the cover off and on.

The lateral recesses ensure a comfortable position of the shoulder in lateral position – in supine position the trapezius muscles can relax better due to the collar-shaped contact with the cushion. The open-pored material and the knobbed structure ensure good ventilation and thus support the pleasant feeling of lying down. A further advantage of the Sanapur Original pillow is the individually adjustable height. This is done with the aid of two inlay plates, through which the pillow can be adjusted to four different heights – the distance between the head and mattress is decisive here when lying on one side or back.
